Here are two photos from the local coast this morning.

The day started with a special Xmas day Parkrun in very stormy conditions.

On the way back to my house, I stopped at one of my favourite locations nearby on the South Coast of Victoria to assess the surf conditions.

Stormy is the word.

This is the Eagle’s Nest:

And this is the bay to the East of the Nest, which provides some monumental waves when the winds and swell are working correctly:

Anyway, with all these beaches and nature around, I am taking a short break from blog posting, while I think about and map out the next book I am working to finishing in the coming months.

The next instalment of the Smith Family Manga will be on January 5, 2024.

That will be Episode 9 of 12 in Season 1, which has focused on the Smith Family itself, particularly the parents.

We also have some fun planned for Season 2 which is in planning stage at present.

It will focus on the kids at school and the local community where the Smith’s live.
