  1. Q4. So the economy (US) is more expansionary now with unemployment at >8% then it was in the late 1990s with unemployment around 4% because the budget deficit is bigger now? Let the good times roll!

    No-one said anything about good or bad. Expansionary is a technical term relating to the impact on aggregate demand.
