with a special Xmas day Parkrun in very stormy conditions.<\/p>\n<p>On the way back to my house, I stopped at one of my favourite locations nearby on the South Coast of Victoria to assess the surf conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Stormy is the word.<\/p>\n<p>This is the Eagle&#8217;s Nest:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/billmitchell.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Eagles_Nest_Cape_Paterson_December_25_2023.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<p>And this is the bay to the East of the Nest, which provides some monumental waves when the winds and swell are working correctly:<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<p>Anyway, with all these beaches and nature around, I am taking a short break from blog posting, while I think about and map out the next book I am working to finishing in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to all the readers and commentators for the year.<\/p>\n<p>The next instalment of the Smith Family Manga will be on January 5, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>That will be Episode 9 of 12 in Season 1, which has focused on the Smith Family itself, particularly the parents.<\/p>\n<p>We also have some fun planned for Season 2 which is in planning stage at present.<\/p>\n<p>It will
